So my new little 7 snagged another mouse tonight and I got to see her do it.

She was lounging in her paper towel tube and I placed it at the end.

She unwound herself, poked out her snout and genuinely looked surprised to find her supper had magically appeared.

She picked it up by its middle, moved it deftly around and just simply swallowed it, quite quickly.

I'm thinking fuzzies may be too small for her already.

She's at least 70 grams now and they're only 6 gram fuzzies.

I have 'small mice' which are about half again as big as the fuzzies.
[haven't weighed them but intend to do so here in a bit]

Is it normal for such a little bitty BP to have such a 'good appetite' already?

I think she'd eat every day, if I let her.

She still looks pencil-like rather than chubby and I worry she's too small for the 15% ratio yet.

But she's hungry!

[just over 24 hours after her first fuzzy, she was already roaming her tub, sniffing and searching again]

How much is "too much" for her?

She does have the sense to leave her tube and go to her warm hide after eating so she seems to know what she's doing.
