    Wild green Eastern Hognose (pics)

I caught this Eastern in my pasture last week. I thought the hognose crowd here would like to see.

I let it go as I didn't have any extra room to try and keep it. It was way awesome looking in person, just a little bit greener than in the pics. It was the first hognose I've actually held in my hands, and I was surprised at how soft it was... kind of velvety almost, totally unlike my BPs. Are Westerns and the other varieties anything like that?

Anybody here keep Easterns? I've read that they're pretty tough to switch over to rodents, but some seem to have had success with them.
