Here is my '07 male pastel. I hand picked him for his extreme blushing and bright, clean, yellow sides. He is still below 1000 grams but he is the pickiest damned eater I've ever seen. He ate four times between October and March when I had him with me in Colorado. I deployed to Afghanistan at the end of March and my wife took him back to Kansas, and since then he has eaten 4 times with no hesitation!
This is my '09 female cinnamon. I also hand picked her for the incredible blushing along her back, in the hopes that I can make some sick pewters with her and the pastel male. Her current weight should be a little above 1300 grams.
Unfortunately I don't have any photos of my female spider, 50% het VPI axanthic. She is probably about 250 grams at the moment and is an '11 baby. I hand selected her for her super high white sides that go halfway up her body in places. She also looked like she may have some markers for being het axanthic, namely a small black line that goes up her right side in the middle of her body and a small black patch about 3/4 of the way back, also on her right side (but maybe it is just me REALLY hoping that I prove her out to be a het!). When I get home from Afghanistan I will be able to post pictures of her, along with the '12 VPI axanthic male that I will be getting from a friend of mine that produces about 500 balls a year back home in Kansas.
Enjoy!
