I keep my only crested gecko right on top of my boa's enclosure for the ease of access. I never imagined that one would have any interest in the other, but after I fed my boa this evening, I noticed the crested was looking down intently. without heedlessly anthropomorphizing, the most accurate description I could give would be, "dude, what the hell..."
