So i have Jake the snake here. He's a great sized boy....3 feet long and as i suspected his cage is filthy, no water and the guy told me it's been 2 months since he's eaten. I have not cleaned his cage only gave him fresh water and tossed a mouse in for him...i knew he was starving. However he ignored the mouse and went straight for the water. He has stuck shed all over him so i'm goin go tgive him a few days to settle in before i handle him. I did manage to scoop some of the cage litter out and clean it up a bit...had old shed in there no poo in there and the guy said he has just cleaned his cage out about a week ago. OK...not. So as soon as Jake settles in to our schedule i'll start handling him more. The guys handed him to me for a second when he was first showing him to me. Seem to feel heavy but he told me he's had the snake for 5 years...ummm shouldn't he big bigger though? I'm watching him now as i type and he's out exploring his cage and smelling the new surrounding...does seem a little stressed but you would too if all of a sudden you had fresh watch and fresh food and the proper temps! I'll updat with a pic soon. Oh and he's just a normal BP no special morph which is fine with me he has unique marking as well...looks faded a bit even after a shed.
