If you are happy with her and she is healthy, that is all that really matters. It would be good if the guy could provide you with papers on her genetics, but if she's mainly going to be a pet, then it's really not a big deal.
Just make sure you check her thoroughly to make sure she's healthy before you pay the guy! Cause if she's not, you're possibly looking at hundreds in vet bills. Check her for mites, check her mouth, listen for any odd sounds when she's breathing, and check her for scale rot. You may know this already, but it never hurts to throw it out there again.
