So, I finally got a couple T's.
I've always hated inverts, especially arachnids. So with my boyfriend being VERY into them, I've had to deal with them for the last two years.![]()
He suggested to get over my irrational fear of spiders would be to get one myself. What an idea!
So after hours of searching and reading about various species I came up with Avicularia versicolor, and Brachypelma albiceps. These both just caught my eye. versicolor for obvious reasons of color and being arboreal and a tunnel webber is super fun. And albiceps for its rarety and unique color and easy keeping.
So I've had them for about a month now and they are doing awesome! Both are eating like champs, the albiceps has shed for me already, and the vericolor has an impressive 7 inch tunnel web spanning her enclosure.
I'm very happy with them, owning T's is awesomeand I do seriously have a new found respect for inverts.
Both are sexed females.
Sorry for the crappy quality, these were taken on my phone since our digital camera took a crap on us
