Oh boy I'm like a kid on Christmas! I had a old old Canon DSLR with a crappy lens that I'd been using for snake pics and other nicer pics. I also had a Olympus point and shoot I'd carry in my purse. I never really liked the Olympus (missed my old Canon that broke) and I found I was mostly using my iPhone when I needed to just snap something quick. So I decided to sell them all (well...except the iPhone) and purchase a new camera. So what I got was sort of in between a DSLR and a point and shoot. This is what I purchased. OMG! I'm in love! I simply took it out of the box, set it on auto (I don't pretend to be a great photog...) and away I went.
So these pics were taken in just 10 or so minutes playing around. I'm in love with the zoom (35x optical!!).
