OUCH!! Anyone else had a snake do this?

We all know a corn snake can't hurt humans - or so I thought until tonight. I was holding my ghost corn (adult male named Joxer) around my neck, while cleaning his tub just now. He was squirming around and tickling me with his tail, which was all fine and dandy... until he suddenly decided to JAB the tip of his tail DEEP into my ear! OMG. It was like accidentally stabbing yourself with a Q-tip, and hurt like a you-know-what!!

My ear is still throbbing a bit, and I swear he practically hit the ear drum. Should I be worried, and has anyone ever had a snake do this before? Weird enough that I had to share, and I can only imagine how a doctor would react to this story: "Hi. My snake stabbed me in the ear, and I'm worried he punctured something."
