    I would love yo have one too, but they can be incredibly destructive and are not as social as little Norway rats. My understanding is that they are more accurate than dogs and machines at sniffing out/noticing TB in humans, and are trained to sniff out mines in a wire/harness grid system, because they do not weigh enough to trigger the mines, and no humans are risked in the process.

    I think they are still banned here as pets though because of some issue with monkeypox years back... but it has been a while since I looked into them.
