    Sorry for your loss...

    I'd suggest you have a necropsy done on the snake and see if it may answer any questions...especially before jumping to any conclusions as to whether the breeder should be held responsible. You don't know if it did or did not eat 3 times while in his/her possession, but it did at least eat once while in your possession. Taking that into consideration, 2 months is plenty of time for something to go wrong...and IMHO, should have never gotten to that point without assist or force feeding. It's so important to know when/how(and be able to) do this when it comes to a young non-feeder.
