I have too many to explain all their names, however a majority of them are just tweaked snake-y versions of historical figures. I named my first Julius Squeezer, and it fits him very well. I've gotten lucky that a lot of mine fit their names very well. I have 4 new ones that still aren't named, and I named my new male yb Socko, just because he comes off as a Socko I guess lol. My son has helped me name some of my critters, such as my leopard geckos. Capri (he was holding a capri sun lol), Toe (not sure why he came up with that but it fits lol) and George (HIS gecko we got for him, probably named after Curious George lol).
