no disrespect intended

Lgray23 my comment is not to take anything away from the suffering and injustice that is taking place.
I fully support the US lending aid. the united states is not the world police contrary to popular opinion.
i do believe that what happens in Africa is horrible and should be stopped. this also did not just begin last night it has been going on for excess of 15+ years..
however this is a UN issue not a US led operative. the United states supports The United Nations and if this was a UN led resolution then i am sure the USA would jump on board

as per the Hitler reference we did not jump into that once hitler began killing Jews
On December 7, 1941, while German armies were freezing before Moscow, Japan suddenly pushed the United States into the struggle by attacking the American naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Four days later Hitler declared war on the United States. President Roosevelt called on Congress for immediate and massive expansion of the armed forces. Twenty years of neglect and indifference, however, could not be overcome in a few days.

I agree that no one should have to live this way. it is extremely sad but we cannot force democracy on the world.
we dont govern the world we govern our country.

I am all for justice and equality i just dont see how this falls under Americas responsibility.
incidents like this will continue to happen. so anytime someone kills another should America get involved? how about 500 people? 1000? 100,000? in mexico there have been 30000 murders by cartels in the past 4 year should we step in? or let them govern themselves

we live in america. we are entitled to freedoms the the rest of the world is not privy too

p.s. this sort of thing would not happen in America, we would have this type of tyrant locked up in one of our many over crowded prisons. as long as we hold to our beliefs and set a higher standard we can only hope the rest of the world takes notice and tries to be like US
