Now i live in virginia where i still hunt and fish and have started my kids off at an early age doint the same. I also have training in survival and first aid as i was a bear and moose guide for many years. I also have pretty extensive weapons training in my back ground so i will take my chances being mobile and living off the land as far north as i can get if something was to happen. Spending all this effort on 72 hour bug out bags and stockpiling stuff in one location is pointless. Now i have a hunting cabin at the foot of.mt katahdin in maine that i will head too and if it gets real bad i know that mountain like the back of my hand so im sure me and mine will be just fine. But come on people, zombies? Hahahahah

Hey now. I never said I believe it will happen. But I can hope. It certainly wouldnt be fun but i would rather have to kill somebody because they are deranged or mentally not there, than somebody who wants to kill me for territorial or political disputes. I can also hope that crazy things like dragons were to suddenly exist. This is entirely different from actually thinking it will or is ever possible.

Call it a morbid interest, but thinking of insane illogical things such as zombies is interesting. I also think of things like my position in a room if something were to happen, or plan of action if there were a fire, for example. Doesn't mean I expect a crazed gunman will come in any second to kill me, but I do enjoy thinking through the improbable. Its interesting, and sometimes fun.
