Cool, and yeah my response wasn't personal.
I can come off that way sometimes, it's just that I am passionate about these animals and am a firm anti hybrid guy.
Bloods are fairly easy to care for yes, but do have different husbandry requirements like you said.
They are also a bit more susceptible to RI's so close attention needs to be paid to temperatures, both too high and too low, as well as humidity, water change frequency and ventilation.
Having kept Balls and animals of the Short Tail complex, I can say that Balls are a breeze compared to Bloods, in my experience. But once you have everything worked out, they are pretty self sufficient.
I would definitely make sure someone has some snake keeping experience under their belt before they get a Blood. They're just not as forgiving as some of the other species out there.
But take care of them and they are very rewarding
Like i said i have no exprience with them, but i was just speaking from what i have learned from you guys on here. The whole hybrid thing im kinda on the fence about. Like i can see both sides of it i guess. I just mentioned it to sorta make a point. I really hope to get some bloods someday after i finish school!
