I think its actually good to get tagged at least once. I had my first normal girl for over a year before she finally tagged me during feeding time one day. I actually didnt realize she bit me til i saw a few droplets of blood on my arm lol.
After being bit i got alot more confidence handling snakes because i know bites arent that bad. Now im able to reach right into anyones snakes tank/cage without much hesitation. (except for hots and reallllllly big snakes lol). Idk if its true but i think snakes can sense whether youre confident or nervous. Hesitation is sometimes what can get you bit.
