Well, if you already have a breedable Mojave male, I'd take my $1000 and invest in 1 or 2 breeding or near breeding size single gene females. You can get yellowbellies for a pretty fair price, maybe a cinnamon or even a pinstripe.

Mojave-bellies, Kingpins and Savannahs all command good prices. One season of double gene offspring will give you enough to invest in that double gene male and another female or two.
