so i made a rack out of pvc piping and to hold up the tubs a couple of pieces of wood going across each shelf to hold up the tubs i drilled holes every 2 inches in the side of the tub put the cover on and slid the tub into the rack. with the water dish in the tub the humidity won't leave 80%. my question is would drilling holes in the lid of the tub reduce humidity more or should i just drill a lot more holes in the side.
i don't have a picture but the pvc piping is put together so there is about 1cm from the lid of the tubs to the next level of pvc piping. the piping is placed together thin enough so about half an inch of the width of the lid of the tub sticks out on either side there is no way for the snake to push out with the lid on the tubs.I'm worried drilling holes may weaken the plastic more. is there anyway for a ball python to get out. i would post pictures but i am at work. and don't have the internet at home at this moment
