Hey again. :)
Hey guys and gals, sorry for my little absence. I got busy with other things (still kinda am), but I'm going to try and make more of an apperance again. I'm making this thread because I think I finally checked into reality and have a more "realistic" vision. Sure everyone wants to end up like NERD or BHB, etc. but chances of that are kinda slim. So here is my somewhat well thought out ideas, comment if you'd like. Id love to read them.
Currently I work as a kennel person at an animal hospital, I get $8/hr, no overtime (even though I work 50+ hours a week), no benefits of any kind, and I'm currently health insuranceless. Me and my gf are both persuing becoming nurses so we should be fairly well off, compared to some people. My gf graduates in june and soon after we will be attending a 6 week course to get our CNA license, to get a job at a hospital, make better money, have benefits, and get ohr foot in the door so that they can pay for our nursing school. We also plan on moving into our own apartment soon after we get a CNA (they make about $10-14/hr) around here. I will then begin getting a few snakes to grow out. Some of which are on my list on a previous thread I had, but slightly modified. I plan to just breed a little to get the feel for everything and see if it truly is something I want to persue further. I'm planning on getting the following as my firsts.
0.1 bee
1.1 black pastel
1.0 pastel spotnose
0.1 pastel butter
1.0 enchi
0.1 fire
Give or take a couple. I'm sure the list will change 1010001001999 more times. I plan on just doing a couple pairings the first year and if I like it take what money I make on the babies and add to the collection. Eventually I would like to work ultramels, lavs, desert, desert ghost, phantom/mystic, and special into the equation....along with a lot of others. I feel that I should get things down pat before dropping a k or more on a snake though.
Ill be reading a lot, posting a little here and there. I basically just want to read read read up on making racks or buying and a lot of other husbandry stuff.
Thanks for reading and possibly posting.
Have a good day.
