    Since he's underweight, and the prey is small, you could easily put him on a 4-5 day schedule until he's up to appropriately sized prey and gains some weight. Note: This is NOT power feeding.

    And that small white "poop" you saw? Urate, not feces.

    Oh, and congratulations on getting him to eat and your new addition!
