Talking Carpet Python Displays: Finished! (Pic Heavy)

There hasn't been too much going on at all in the snake room besides breeding, so I got bored and decided to do a little project tonight. I wanted to make some cool display enclosures for my Carpets and it went super well--I love designing displays.

So here are the displays ! Feel free to take any of my ideas for your own display.

First up is my Bredli female. She's been growing fast since the Tucson Show, so this enclosure suits her very well. I have several different perches from high to low with many hiding places within.

The setup from top to bottom.
At the top I placed in some flowers on the branch perch as well as another perch right in front of the flowers. She loves to hangout behind the red flower.

Middle shot of the setup; I have a water dish placed on top of a piece of slate which is hot glued in place to be sturdy. I also have another perch right below the dish and glued a short vine with leaves to it for a natural look. Also if you notice, I used a Moss Mat for the background (taped outside of the enclosure) for a natural look.

The bottom of the setup has an UTH placed under the Exo-Terra hide. There was no room for the dish so placing the dish higher worked out great.

Now, for my High Yellow JCP male, setup from top to bottom.
I also placed a couple flowers in to give the setup a cool look. I like how the flowers bring in some color to these setups.

The middle of the setup has a couple perches. There is one fake bamboo branch that goes from the bottom to the top of the enclosure that I bent a bit to give some different perches around the setup. A pink flower is also hot glued to the end of one of the perches. If you noticed, I also hot glued some fake diamonds around the setup for a little spiffy-ness.

As for the bottom, I have no hide since he only likes to perch. But there definitely was room for a nice sized dish. I did not have any Moss Mat left for the background of this setup.

I really like how the setups came out. The one thing I want to change is to make their substrate Coco Husk for a real natural look.

    Thanks for looking !!
