Hey all! I just made some new hides and got some new tank decor, and I have never shared pics of my set up, so I just thought I would for fun and giggles.

Before you say anything, no, I do not get my temp and humidity reading from the cheap a$$ PetCo gauges on the wall. My snake arrived in the mail two days before my laser thermometer did, so I ran out and bought those and a bunch of those little sticky temp strips so I had SOMETHING for two days. I tossed the stickies, but the gauges are just still there thought I completely ignore them.

Warm side and cool side. Each side had a red hide bowl, a piece of driftwood, and a plant. I have a humid hide in the middle, made of tupperware filled with sphagnum moss.

I had to drill a hole in the top corner of the tank to shove the probe for my thermostat. I didn't even consider that being a problem with a front opening viv until I was setting everything up and was like, "How is THIS supposed to work?!" Power tools solve everything.

A curious little nose trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing. My bowl hides are real sophisticated: I cut a hole in a bowl and melted the edges smooth with a lighter. Haha. May look a little crude, but she sure loves them, and they are the perfect size!

What do you think?
