They get calmer than you might expect given their generally sour reputation. Most of that is based off of encounters with wild snappers. In captivity they can be quite calm but the spatial requirements should still deter most people from keeping them.Originally Posted by JLC
LOL...just remember they don't stay cute or little. They get big and they get mean.Maybe not as big as an alligator snapper, but it's still a darned big turtle with a fierce bite.
