Thanks Dr. Del. I didn't really think about the possible hets down the tree.

If I took the original offspring and bred them strictly to other known either VPI or SK, I would then, still be able to know their offspring as either 100% VPI or SK line, no?

Do you think that would be dirtying the gene pool, if you will?

I am interested in trying it out to see how the dual Ax genes plays with each other; however, I do not want to do something that would dilute the quality of my future snakes.

Yes if you bred them to known SK animals then the visual axanthic offspring would be SK axanthics poss het VPI axanthics and vica versa.

If you bred them to other double axanthic hets then you would probably have to keep the animals and see how they age then guess however.

As I said I'd like to see how the animal looks with both ( or all three ) visual lines too.
