Post-Shed Pictures of My First Ever Clutch!
Hey all! My first clutch finally finished shedding out a couple of days ago, so I got to it and took some pictures. I ended up with 0.2 Normals, 1.0 Pastel, and 1.1 Super Pastels; all are possible het. Pieds (and a couple of them have decent markers). This is my first time using a light-tent and I definitely have a lot to learn. The shots came out kind of sub-par in my opinion, but they were taken at night with barely suitable lighting. Anywho, on to the pictures of these cute little guys/gals!
Here's the first Normal. This was the first snake to pip, and the first to leave its egg. I love the little heart on the top of her head .

Here's the other normal, also a neat little normal.

Next up is the Pastel of the clutch--I really wish he was a she because he has some nice Pied markers going on, but I love him all the same. Not the brightest Pastel out there, but I failed completely to capture his color. He's actually a pretty bright little fellow with an interesting look to him.

Now for the first of the Super Pastels. This snake is a lot lighter than the pictures suggest, but if I captured her true pale yellows, I lost all of those coral colors she has along her sides. Unfortunately those didn't come out very well either, haha.

And now for the last snake, the second Super Pastel. This guy is really interesting in that he has a classic stonewashed look to him, much like the stonewashed Supers that pop up in the Ruppel line of Pastels. His yellows are much more white than yellow, and in person he looks sort of like you'd imagine a Super would look like if you were looking at it through an empty gallon of milk (that is to say opaque plastic ).

Thanks everyone for looking! It was a really exciting process from start to finish, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Hopefully there will be many more Ball Python clutches down the line for me!
Cheers,
-Matt
R.I.P. Steve, I'll miss you more than you could have ever known. I love you.
