I got a small female pin last week from a reptile shop where a buddy of mine is the manager. He told me it was eating fine. Yesterday I went to go buy a rat hopper and the other guy who works there told me pretty much "Oh by the way we've had to assist feed that girl." I was kind of surprised.

When I told my friend he was surprised and said she had taken live prey from him and didn't know they other guy had assist fed it and seemed kind of mad that he did. They have a pretty strict no return/exchange policy but my buddy is a good guy and said I could bring it back to get a different snake but he also said most of the time they can be assisted a few time and then start taking meals on their own.

He said I could wait it out to see if she eats and if she doesn't or if I just want to, bring it back. In your experience should I try and wait it out to see if the snake comes around or am I looking for trouble and should go get a proven eater.
