    I think I'm over feeding...

It's been my understanding that older snakes don't shed as frequently as younger snakes, but I have an 05/06 proven breeder female that seems to shed once a month. This isn't normal is it? I have to be overfeeding.

When I got her in early August she had just shed and weighed ~1600g on empty. She shed again on September 8th and she is about to shed again now. She's up to ~2200g and eats like a pig. I know I shouldn't have, but twice I've offered her 2 medium rats (my other larger 1800g female refused 1) which she downed and then came back looking for more. I don't mind her feeding like a pig because I want to breed her this season, but should I slow her down and maybe only offer once ever 10-14 days or offer small rats instead of mediums?

I know most people are concerned with BPs not eating, but with my collection more often than not I'm concerned I'm feeding too much because 90% them like to act like I never feed them.
