    Feed F/T

    Hi,
I have been feeding F/T and here is whats happening...

I let the mouse (hoppers right now) thaw..then hit it with the blow dryer. he takes it every time no problem. after he pretend strangles it he starts to position himself but he always goes towards the back of the mouse. once he gets to the middle though the mouse starts to fold and he eats it sideways. so instead of the mouse easing in he fits the etire thing in his head then starts to swallow. he always gets it down, never regurtates or anything but it looks very difficult.
is there some technique to get him to strike the right spot or idk is this fine? the hoppers are just barely as big as the biggest portion of his body so im not sure whats going wrong there.
im thinking about looking for a local breeder for mice because the pet store here do not have live feeders, and then feeding hijm live ones. im in Dallas TX
