    I've never heard anyone recommend breeding a year-old female, no matter how big she is. Usually people say 2-3 years minimum, and preferably over 1500g before any attempts. Plus, the girl just won't go if she's not ready... I tried breeding my (then) 2+ year-old het albino last season, since she was well over 1500g, but it was a no go. Now she's 3+ years & over 2000g, and hopefully ready to mate!
