My latest favorite thing to make is Lentil soup. It costs around $5 to make and serves around 8-10 hearty and filling servings, it is filled with protein and fiber, it tastes amazing as well, especially after the seasonings sit for a night in the fridge.

Above is basically what I do but I add a lot more garlic and a little cumin, plus a ton more vegetables. Last time I added cabbage and it worked incredibly well.
