    Talking My first liter!

I of course mean litter. I really should not type these things up as soon as I wake up ><

Anyway, my female BEW was starting to get more and more pear shaped everyday so I wasn't surprised yesterday evening to come downstairs and hear squeaks from 14 little pink things in one of my rat tubs.

    Newborns:

    About 18 hours old:

I do have a couple questions.

Can you tell from looking at the babies if they are getting milk?

Is it that white spot to the right of it's belly button?

Also I've noticed the mom sometimes runs around the tub, trampling the babies, giving them cuts and bloody marks. She also seems to burry them alot, like completely cover them with substrate. Are these normal behaviors?
