As you may or may not know, I went to the Toronto reptile expo today (I just got home, I live in the neighbouring province). While I was there, I picked up a bunch of supplies, including substrate for the T's (because I can't seem to find good black earth here) and a heat mat for one of my converted aquariums. The heat mat was a real good price at $23, considering the retail store here sells them for around $50, and I let my father carry the heat mat because I had no more room in my backpack.

BIG. MISTAKE.

The heat mat got left, yup, you guessed it, in Toronto! Worst part is, that was the only thing that I actually needed for the upcoming week. So now I have to go out to the store and spend another $50 to replace the heat mat that got lost.

Sorry, had to rant. Next time, I'm bringing bags. Tons and tons of bags. Nobody is leaving my stuff at a city that is 6 hours away by car.
