Yesterday, I attempted to feed my Ball Python a rat, and a mouse, he took the mouse, absolutely no problem. Struck at it within seconds... The rat scared him by jumping and landing on him accidently...

So everyone, meet Gnomey







Little Gnomey is about 4inches, nose to base of his tail.

My younger brother saw him, and well.. We fell in love with him so our parents agreed that we could keep him.

I figure he's kinda young, since he's smaller than what the rats we had when I was little were.

He's adorable, and last night, when the little guy was falling asleep on me, I discovered how cute rat yawns were

Anyways, any guesses to his age? And I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread... I figured it was the best place to start though.
