I've been waiting for this day for quite some time. I've been keeping ball pythons since August of 2007 and until today, I had never been bitten by an adult ball python. I've been bitten by babies a few times and an adult "tagged" me with a single tooth. It barely grazed my skin so I didn't count it as a bite.
My sister came over to hang out for a little while and wanted to see the spider female she used to have. (started out I had her to breed for her, then she gave her to our friend, but she's still here for breeding) I reach in to show her how much one of the other snakes has grown and he tags me good! He lets go and immediately I'm dripping blood on the floor. It barely hurt (hurt more when I washed it) and I'm glad I finally got it over with. I've been wondering what it would feel like. I'm uploading a picture of the bite, after cleanup. (sorry no blood) You can barely see the teeth marks, but with as much blood as there was you'd think he'd split my finger open.
Can't blame him though. Today is feeding day. He was probably saying to himself "What no rat? Well take that! That'll teach you not to bring me my food!"
