BPnet Veteran
so i think my BP just got bit....
well, my new pastel has been on a feeding frenzie since i got him about a month or so ago, eating stedy every 5 days, however i have had a hard time finding a descent sized white mice that is actually the same size if not a bit more than the thickest part of his body, and i have noticed after feeding he usually seems to want more. Anyway, today i went to petland and asked for the biggest feeding white mice they had, lady was helpful and took her time picking out form the clutter to find a nice thick one. When i got him i weighed him, 38 grams, biggest one i have fed him thus far (usually 28-30g) anyways i dropped the mouse in like usually, and after a few second Prince came out of his hide, and struck and coiled, only thing is this time i THINK i saw the mouse head biting down on his side as he was constricting, i did;t get a good chance to be 100 percent sure because when i though i saw this, he was constricting harder and moved in a position where i could not see the mouse head, on top of that it was hard to see cuz i have a infrared bulb on there so that always make me dizzy.
Anyway he went about his feed and went back into his hide, not i dont want to disturb him in anyways to check to see if i see a bite, i will wait until at least a day and a half before bringing him out of his tank and inspect him for anytimes of wounds.
My question is, is he was bit, what do i do? How do i treat the wound? Dealing with bitten BP is one situation i never been in, and want to know how to solve it without causing, or letting any damage happen to him.
