An insight into Platty/Butter Daddies and ways to produce Platty Daddy combos :

Platty and Butter Daddies are the dominant form of Lessers and Butters and are where all the Lessers and Butters derive from. Daddies also produce Het Daddies which look like a normal but contain the crucial “hidden gene” to produce more Platty/Butter Daddies.

So you ask, how do we produce Daddies and Daddy combo’s? Here are the various ways ….

1. Breed a Platty Daddy to a Platty Daddy. From this breeding you will produce Platty Daddies, Lesser x Lesser Blue Eyed Lucy's and Lessers. If any normals are produced in this breeding they will be 100% het for Platty Daddy. Any lessers will not be het for the daddy gene.

2. Breed a Platty Daddy to a Pastel. From this breeding you will produce Lesser Pastel, Lessers, Pastel Het Daddies and Het Daddies.

3. Breed a Platty Daddy to a Het Daddy. From this breeding you will produce Platty Daddies, Lessers and Het Platty Daddies (homozygous daddy carriers).

4. Breed a Platty to a Het Daddy. From this breeding you will produce Platty Daddies, Lessers and poss Het Platty Daddies.
