EGG BUTT PUFF (or EBP):

Definition:

Egg Butt Puff is the day or two (or even week) before the eggs are laid. The area right next to the vent gets huge and puffy with the eggs that are waiting to come out. It is an excellent time line indicator of when to get ready for eggs to be laid, and when to prep your incubator boxes.
