I have my humidity at a constant 50 plus or minus a few here and there. the temp with my heat pad stay at about 80-85 depending on how much bedding stays over the mat. But with the light off the air temp drops to about 70-72 at night. with the light on during the day its at about 84 also, up or down a few depending on the day.. Now at night the husbandry sheet say the ambient temp should stay at around 80, but with my snake in her hide or anywhere on the heat pad with my IR gun the temp is about 80-85 no matter what the heat from the light gives off. So does the air temp cause that much of a problem when the snakes temp on that side of tank is at 80-85 all the time????
