Okay so today when I took Dante out of his tank to move him to our new house I noticed about four little reddish-black bugs up by his head and on his neck. I quickly brushed them off, and began looking for more and found one more crawling on his side. I brushed it off too, then instantly put Dante in a warm bath. I don't know for sure if they were mites or not, I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures, I was just trying to get them off. I instantly dumped out the substrate (T-Rex Sani-Chips) and removed all the fake plants, hides, and water bowl, then took everything to our new house. I've washed down the tank with super hot water and anti-bactireal soap after I left if filled to the top with super hot water till the water cooled down. I also washed down the water bowl, plants, and hides with super hot soapy water and left everything (tank included) to air dry.

Is there anything else I should do, or was this not right? I've never thought I'd get mites and now I'm scared because I've heard they're impossible to get rid of. So if anyone knows anything else please let me know asap. My vet is about an hour and a half away and almost always booked because he's the only one in a four hour driving radius. If I should take Dante I will though.
