Tried searching the forums for this topic and didn't come up with anything. It's possible I just wasn't searching the right terms though.

I'm fairly new to the bp world. I've seen quite a few ads that stated that the het they were selling came with paperwork. My question is: what does this paperwork entail?

I understand if its from a big time breeder, they can essentially use their reputation to guarantee that the het pied your buying is actually het for pied. However, how does a virtual nobody (like me) guarantee to my buyers that the hets I'm selling are genuine? Is it essentially a piece of paper with my signature that says mom snake is this and dad snake is this so that means baby snake is het? Or is there some sort of ball python verifying agency that guarantees it (haha)?

Just a question I've been thinking about a bit. I'm interested in getting into breeding in the next couple of years and am definitely interested in hets!
