I have a new juvi gecko, not yet sexed. I want to know if I am feeding it too much. I do not know how old it is but it is the size of a pointerfinger on an adult woman's hand. If I put crickets or meal worms in it's cage it eats them all pretty fast. I want to know if it will be like a kitten and just keep feeding if there is food around. I don't want it to explode but I do not want to under feed it. I feed it 6-7 mini crickets a night and usually put 8-10 mini mealworms in the dish. Everything is normally gone by morning. Should it always have access to worms?

Also, do they eat their skin, or is mine some sort of mutant? It has a purple belly and tail right now, does that mean it is still shedding?
