They really aren't bad in general. A few may stay snappy as adults and they are much more food-motivated than BPs, which just means that getting them out can sometimes be tricky. Other than that, they can be very very calm, easygoing snakes. Don't assume that your friend's blood (unless it's still a baby) has the typical attitude of most. It's good to read up on them and be ready, but you'd be missing out if you let the bad rep scare you. Most don't live up to it.for years i wanted a blood, beautiful snakes but my courage level is not that high yet . i have heard they are really snappy and you have to hold them in a such a special way that you the owner has to find out from handling them.![]()
