I recall as a young snake owner( 30 + yrs ago ) hearing you should not feed hampsters to your snake , now along time has past and haven't heard that again till the other day. From what I understand feeding a hampster will stop your snake from taking mice, rats anything else. I do not believe this but has anyone else heard this and why is this supposed to be true? I believe its just a old tale but if there is any truth (I dought) to this let me know and why its true . Thanks
