I'm taking care of two ball pythons. One is my lovely little BenjaminThe other is my brother's! I'm taking care of his until well about another week or so. To the main point: He had a bad shed.. I've soaked, luke warm, warm towel inside the container, and waited. I've done this three days in a row. Gently, I've removed 3/4 of the shed
The remaining portion is from the skinny part of his neck to the brain bump on his head. Long story short, the shed is really on his skin, the little guy has been a champ letting me gently rub at it seeing if I can find a loose part somewhere but no luck :/ ESPECIALLY on his head is my main concern because they are so head shy and its really on their.
The only breakthrough I think I'm going to have is when I feed the guy, the mouse will stretch out the skin in his neck and loosen it up. That with a soak following the next day hopefully I will be able to remove it.
Thats my theory, does anyone else have any helpful tips? Again, the shed that is left is the most sensitive, and really stuck on part. I just want him to be relieved of his shed so he can feel free 8)
