It was feed day and I threw in a small mouse to each of my bp's. I always watch them until the mouse is completely dead, then I leave them to eat in peace. Anyway, as I am watching my male spider, he strikes and the mouse jumps, he misses. Three more times this athletic mouse jumps away. His fourth strike he catches the mouse BY THE TAIL!!!!! He tries to kill the tail by coiling around it but it does not work. I am ready to intervene at this point because I think the mouse will for sure start attacking my snake to get free. Nope, the mouse just sits there. Over a minute goes by and the mouse starts to walk around. HE IS DRAGGING MY SNAKE AROUND who is coiled around his tail!!!!! Crazy! I watch for a bit longer and finally my snake lets go of the tail after a nice long piggy back ride. He sits there for a moment then strikes a final time, kills the mouse, then eats it. I wish I had thought to take photos of the mouse/snake train.
