Well to me, this is an obvious answer. They are named sand boas for a reason lol...But I keep reading that its bad to keep them in sand? This to me sounds like a bunch of OCD reptile keepers got together and made up some KSB urban legend...I can see if you feed on it, but I remove her from the enclosure anyways, so I don't see how it can be bad? Also, their natural habitat is in sand! How could it be bad? Has there been studies proving that it DOES cause impaction? If so send it my way...
I think some of you guys get a little excited with your care techniques, and this is how these rumors get started...Unless there is something I am unaware of?
