I think one of the greatest things that happens to me throughout my day is when I check on the reptiles and and my leo's come running from their hides to see me. Of course they just know that they usually get fed when I come into the room, but still
So anyway, yesterday morning I tried to introduce a previously quarantined female with another female who use to have a cage mate. Lily, 68g, is in a 20g long tank. Her cage mate was Nolan, the one that passed away some time ago. Now I wanted to get Reptar, 48g female, into the same cage as Lily. I was under the previous assumption that females were fine to put together. Lily once had a cage mate and she has been placed in my male breeders tank before without her ever having a care in the world.
So I place this other female fresh out of quarantine into her tank and Lily runs like a scared little baby into the corner. I try to relax the atmosphere and give them some superworms. Reptar eats a bunch of them and Lily just ignores them and she's wagging her tail around. Lily's tail wagging gets Reptar interested, thinking that it's food and she starts "hunting" her tail. So I pull Reptar away.
Any ideas what might be up with Lily? Or how I should be introducing them properly?
