We recently got a BP and even though I love the look of his enclosure, it's too big for a juvenile and it doesn't hold humidity well. His first shed with us was horrible! I peeled every bit of shed off of him. Luckily he's a hardy boy. He even managed to eat an African hopper after a stressful two weeks of bad shed the same night I got the skin off his face and neck! Today I bought two tubs, a 15 qt tub for him now and a 34 qt tub for him when he's full grown. I have a thermostat, 2 hides and a water bowl as well as some bedding. I'm ready to set up his tub but I want to do it right. How do you guys set up your tubs for juveniles, and in the future adults? I want to know how many holes to drill for humidity and such. Also, I'd like to find an inexpensive timer to set up a day/night schedule. Advice is much appreciated!
Also, is anyone attending the Arlington show? A local pet store owner who enjoys breeding is going to pick up some balls in February and I'm hoping to pick up a female and I'm hoping he can find some good animals!
