Hi I'm kind of new to ball pythons and have seen this statement ' I hope it is a male' and was wondering why people seem to want males. And congrats to you on this great snake.

You can bread a male sooner then a female. So if you got a amazing male you could usualy bread it to find out what you actualy have or produce more in a year. Where if you got a amazing female you have to wait 2-3 till she is ready.
