So story starts with my girlfriend telling me theres a 1000 gram lesser female on fauna for 650 bucks. Here im thinking.... its gotta be a scam or something wrong with her, I mean wouldn't you guys place her value at over 1000? But anyways we ask for pictures and info, his pictures were really over exposed, so could really judge how she looked and he kept saying how he thinks "she is just the most beautiful lesser hes ever seen" and im kinda like "yea yea everyone think their own snakes are the most beautiful snake"
after talking and what not he wanted to meet up only an hour away form my house so I figure no harm in checking this out. We get there and meet up with him, he shows me the lesser, she looked like nothing special, I could see she had some pretty cool blushing, bout it. popped her... female. just looking at her she looks like shes around 1000 grams, nothing wrong with her from what I can see. I'm still thinking "why is he letting her go for 650 bucks?" On the fauna forum people were offering him more money, but he didn't want to ship and I was able to meet up with him. So then im pretty happy with what we got, go home, put her on the scale... 1100 grams, awesome and I put her in her new tub.
so I check on her about an hour later she just coiled up in the back, I check on her about 3 hours later and there's shed laying at the front of the cage... I'm just like you have to be kidding me... the nothing special lesser turned into a lesser with the craziest blushing I've ever seen.
Might be a bad pic, my camera is acting up so this is the only pic I got of her for now. The only thing I can say bad about all this is her shed was pretty bad. but she got most of it off and i was able to help her with the rest of it. which is hardly worth mentioning. she ate for me a few days later, live right out of my hand, going to try frozen next.
so now i am still left with "how did I get such a good deal?" Very happy with her tho and hopefully in less than a year I'll have some little blue eye'd beauties. on top of all that she has a dopey curious personality, the girls think its cute. Who needs a puppy when you got a snake like that.
